Lawson Roberts Guide to the "New" Wedding Cake

Classic wedding cakes will never go out of style. But, it's your special day!

Why not create something that makes it uniquely yours?

Here are some alternatives to the traditional wedding cake so you can flaunt your out-of-the-box style and surprise your guests!

Time to set tradition aside and explore the unknown with wedding desserts!

Love donuts? Consider a stack of some artisan flavors for your guests to choose their favorites!

Unleash your inner cookie monster and serve chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches. This is a treat all the guests will love.

Breakfast all day everyday! A pancake stack with some powdered sugar is just the ticket for a chic wedding with pancake lovers!

Set up a mobile pastry and dessert cart with a variety of treats. Let the guests serve their sweet tooth themselves all night with fabulous desserts.

If you love cheese as much as I do, this "cheesecake" couldn't be more perfect. This along with some wine will send your guests' tastebuds to the South of France and they will thank you for it.

A tiered macaroon stand is simple but elegant. Make it bloom with some flowers thrown in the the mix with an array of flavors and colors

In case you haven't heard, gelato is perhaps the best thing the Italians have created. For your outdoor wedding, a gelato cart is perfect. This way people can walk around with their dessert that's easy to eat and doesn't need a plate or utensils!

Nobody's ever said no to a Belgian Waffle. Why not have a waffle bar and allow your guest to serve themselves with their favorite decadent toppings!

Remember as always, it's your day. So express yourself in any fashion you wish.
